The Connecticut Natural Gas Corporation, a subsidiary of UIL Holdings Corporation, a natural gas delivery company that provides service to 165,000 customers in 22 towns in the greater Hartford and Greenwich, CT areas. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team in our Rocky Hill facility.

Manages and maintains the Company’s LNG facility in a best cost, safe and reliable manner while meeting all state and federal code and training requirements. Supervises operation and maintenance of LNG Plant equipment and assets. Directs Plant Personnel to maximize productivity. Provides training of Personnel to meet all code requirements. Oversees LNG Plant Capitol Projects. Maintains safe working environment and complies with all regulatory requirements. Works with computerized Work Management System, updating work orders and issuing corrective work orders for unscheduled work. Reviews and updates code required procedures for operation, maintenance, emergency and security.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Must have strong communication, computer and management skills. Must have a high level of attention to detail. Must have seven years of experience in the natural gas industry, manufacture environment or power plant. Must be fully knowledgeable in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of CFR 193, NFPA 59a.
