Energy Efficiency Engineer

Location and team

 

In Arizona, KEMA has been retained by Tucson Electric Power, UniSource Energy and  Arizona Public Service Company, to implement their energy efficiency programs. 

 

KEMA Services, Inc. is seeking an Energy Efficiency Engineer to be based in Tucson, AZ.   

 

 

Tasks will include

 

Key responsibilities of the position include the following:

  • Review and verify technical merits of business customer energy efficiency applications, including calculation of energy savings and verification of equipment specifications
  • Customer site inspections of energy efficient equipment
  • Data base (Access or Oracle) queries and program data analysis
  • Interact with customers to address questions or concerns about qualifying equipment or the energy efficiency programs
  • Educate contractors about the program
  • Develop, streamline and automate energy efficiency program processes
  • Provide flexible support to other team members on an as-needed basis

 

What we're asking

 

Requirements include a Bachelors of Science degree in an Engineering discipline, and a proven grasp of data base and analysis tools such as Access, Oracle and Excel.  An educational emphasis on energy efficiency and/or energy efficiency experience is strongly preferred.  The successful candidate should also have excellent written and oral communication skills for customer and client communication.  Most importantly, this individual should display a positive, team-oriented attitude to match our friendly work environment.
