Job Description:

Basic Qualifications:
Must have demonstrated experience in spend analysis.

Core Competencies:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related
technical field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and
experience.
- Typically possesses a minimum of five years experience in the field of
analysis.
- Demonstrated experience preparing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
analysis.
- Demonstrated experiencing analyzing data and creating recommendations
including extracting data from databases (i.e. SQL, DB2, Oracle).
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management practices and
principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects as well as monitoring and
reporting project status and coordinating associated activities.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP software in a supply chain
environment.
- Demonstrated experience using software tools to create and edit
complex reports, graphs, and presentations, convert information from one
format to another, use advanced functions, and generate non-standard
reports from business applications/ databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to
integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services
to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and
safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage
information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external
customers.
- Must demonstrate excellent management mastery, including effective
resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team
building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics, influence
and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, the
ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.

Comments:
Additional testing may be required as part of the selection process for
this position. Candidates for this position must be legally authorized
to work directly as employees for any employer in the United States
without visa sponsorship.

Preferences:
Masters degree in Business Administration. SAP and BI experience.

Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for spend analysis in many
different functional areas, gathering market intelligence and performing
opportunity assessments. Typical responsibilities will include
evaluating business unit spend, monitoring supplier performance and
performing industry analysis; Performing risk assessment and providing
recommendations pertaining to category spend areas; Gathering,
analyzing, and presenting findings or recommendations on category spend
data; Conducting monthly reporting and development of metrics for
various reporting requirements and meeting all reporting deadline dates;
Providing ongoing communication updates, final results of work in
progress and final results to management; Performing other duties as
assigned.
