Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience performing spend analysis.

Core Competencies:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related
technical field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and
experience.
- Typically possesses a minimum of five years experience in the field of
analysis.
- Demonstrated experience preparing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
analysis.
- Demonstrated experiencing analyzing data and creating recommendations
including extracting data from databases (i.e. SQL,
DB2, Oracle).
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management practices and
principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects as well as monitoring and
reporting project status and coordinating associated activities.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP software in a supply chain
environment.
- Demonstrated experience using software tools to create and edit key
performance reports, graphs, and presentations, convert information from
one format to another, use advanced functions, and generate non-standard
reports from business applications/ databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to
integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services
to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and
safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage
information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external
customers.
- Must demonstrate excellent management mastery, including effective
resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team
building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics, influence
and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, the
ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.

Additional testing may be required as part of the selection process for

Preferences:
- Masters degree in Business Administration.
- Demonstrated experience working with SAP and/or Business Intelligence
(BI).

Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for spend analysis in many
different functional areas, gathering market intelligence and performing
opportunity assessments. Typical responsibilities will include:
conducting business process mapping; evaluating business unit spend,
monitoring supplier performance and performing industry analysis;
performing risk assessment and providing recommendations pertaining to
category spend areas; gathering data from databases (i.e. SQL, DB2,
Oracle); preparing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis; presenting
findings or recommendations on category spend data from ERP systems and
other related supply chain data sources while applying supply chain
management practices and principles; conducting monthly reporting and
development of metrics for various reporting requirements and meeting
all reporting deadline dates; providing ongoing communication updates;
and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
