Description Established in 1960, McKinstry is full service design, build, operate and maintain (DBOM) firm. McKinstry’s professional staff and trades people deliver a variety of services including mechanical/electrical engineering, construction (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical), architectural metals, 24/7 service and maintenance, energy/LEED services and onsite facility management to our many clients. As an early adopter of the DBOM process, McKinstry advocates collaborative and sustainable solutions that create high performance buildings designed to ensure occupant comfort, improve systems efficiency, reduce facility operational costs and ultimately optimize client profitability for the life of their building. As the Business Manager within our Critical Environments team, your primary objective will be to ensure the financial management of contracted operations is executed and communicated to ensure client satisfaction and company profitability. You will manage accounting policies and budgets, establish procedures and priorities to implement and maintain approved financial plans, as well as oversee and manage all third party vendor scopes of work. Additionally, you will serve as the project expert in Computer Guidance Corporation (CGC) Construction Management Systems (CMS) accounting software providing support to staff and other employees as needed (including: configurations, system generated reports, and reconciling procedures for the modules). Qualified applicants will have strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of project level finances and an analytical mindset. Prior experience in vendor management and construction software systems is preferred. A four year degree in business, finance or accounting or equivalent work experience is preferred. This position requires at least ten years experience in data centers or the facility management industry. Occasional travel is required.
