Job Description – Sales Executive Exelon Energy is focused on selling electric (and natural gas as applicable) products to commercial and industrial customers in target markets. The Sales Executive is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the Exelon Energy sales plan. This requires identifying prospective customers, developing and maintaining customer relationships, sales execution and meeting sales goals. The Sales Executive is also responsible for assisting in the development of regional market forecasts and strategies and participation in projects to improve the efficiency of the internal sales process. Primary Responsibilities -Develop sales plans, which include prospect development, in order to meet sales goals, while also achieving the objectives of the Exelon Generation portfolio plan. -Meeting sales goals, while adhering to the internal customer management processes and risk polices. -Manage the customer interface, which may include responding to RFP’s and interactions with associations, affinity groups and other third party channel intermediaries. -Interface with internal departments, including, contract management, legal, risk control, credit, customer enrollment, accounting, billing and portfolio management. -Participate in various projects that include developing and transforming the sales processes to improve the efficiency, automation, controls and responsiveness to customers. -Provide ongoing customer account management and sales support services to customers. -Obtain and distribute market intelligence including regulatory changes, market developments and opportunities, market fundamental and competitor analysis. -Assist in expanding the customer base with analysis of new markets, products and opportunities. Minimum Qualifications -B.S. degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering/Technical area from an accredited four-year university. -Minimum of 3-5 years industry-specific experience in wholesale and/or retail energy marketing or sales with demonstrated success. -Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills. -Demonstrated success working cooperatively with customers and co-workers across functional project teams. -Demonstrated skills in PC applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and IT systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and analytical tools. -Proven project management skills with ability to manage many priorities with tight deadlines. -Demonstrated ability in managing results, financial analysis, planning, and strategy. -Travel several times a week as needed.
